Album Art

Covers built to be felt before they’re heard.

Music is a huge part of my life and, like most people, I have been molded by my early interactions with physical media. The smell and tangible magic of my parent’s record collection is seared deep into my subconscious. The memory of flipping through these insanely artistic covers and being floored by the mystique a well designed cover offers. The window into the music before you even hear a single note.

The album as a format is something I believe in very deeply and think the cover art is one of the most important connections to the listener and is why it has maintained its cultural impact for so many years.

When I get tasked to create a unique and lasting piece of album art I instantly take to wanting to hear the music and find direction that suits the mood of the artist. To me, the magic is in finding the perfect image to represent the feeling of the music. The atmosphere. The authenticity. I aim to give my clients entire worlds to play in with characters that add to the experience in expansive and unexpected ways.
