Sausage Man

Grotesque, threatening and completely ridiculous, in that order.

All sculpture

This may be the most deliberately revolting character I’ve made.

An aspiring enforcer

Internally I’ve always called him “Sausage Man” because, well, he looks a little like a walking sausage.

He’s an aspiring enforcer obsessed with one of the serpent factions within the Minker-Verse and has adopted all of the visual trappings that he thinks should make him intimidating. Unfortunately, his costume is wildly impractical, he’s cumbersome, and simply getting around appears to be difficult.

Imagine Judge Dredd if Judge Dredd moved very slowly and wasn’t particularly good at his job.

The uncomfortable middle

He’s supposed to occupy that uncomfortable space between grotesque, threatening and completely ridiculous.

On the name

“Sausage Man” is a working title, not what he ends up being called.
