A cybernetic snake, and a descent that gets away from everyone.
A short built around a cybernetic terminator snake, made to feature character design. Real footage and photography married with special effects, and then it descends into a Willy Wonka style trip into the unknown. The clips below are moments pulled from the finished short.
The snake had to read as machinery that was once alive, which is a design problem before it is a technical one. Once that was settled the film could go somewhere much stranger without losing the audience.
The full short runs under three minutes and is best watched in one sitting rather than sampled.
