A puppet I made, dropped into footage that was already real.
Rahul is a practical puppet I built, then placed into existing footage using practical photography and a lot of technical wizardry. The adventures got away from me a little, which is usually the sign that a character is working.
Build the puppet. Photograph it properly. Then find footage it has no business being in and make it belong there anyway. The believability lives almost entirely in matching the light.
Half of these are experiments that did not make the short. They are here because they are better than most things that do.
