Attempt number two. The first one used a cereal box.
Gambit may have been my favorite X-Man growing up. I even dressed as him as a kid, using a cereal box to construct parts of the costume.
This was essentially attempt number two.
Of all the details, I became strangely obsessed with his metallic leg armor. It’s one of those tiny pieces of a character design that lodged itself permanently in my childhood brain. This time I could actually make it look the way I’d always imagined it.
Considerably better than the cereal box.
